Every child is born enlighten, with too much of information we loose the courage to accept it.

A playful time spent with our little yogis.  Parents often join in this celebration of life and happiness.  If practicing of yoga is healthy for adults , so for children also.  Before preparing the garden with flowers and fruits we not only need the seeds but also the soil that is soft and without weeds. Same with the human beings.  When the child grows the mind has to go with different stages.  

 

We need an education that helps the child to help on physical, mental and emotional stages. Yoga is the science and art  that is concerned with the growth of mind and body. Yoga is an non-competitive form of exercise that helps the children to grow.

 

Physical fitness : practicing various poses helps the growing child to maintain erect posture, increases flexibility and developing physical stamina without any strain. 

 Many  children do not cope well during the transitional period when they are growing up.  Yogic techniques helps the child to balance the sympathetic and parasympathetic system.

 Metabolic system : it is good to motivate  the child to practice different types of deep breathing techniques(pranayam) to increase the lung capacity. These breathing helps to balance the  two hemisphere of the brain.

 

Emotional  growth : emotional disturbance occurs because of  imbalance of pranic shakti( vital component)  and manas shakti (mental component).  Deep breathing and meditation  helps to balance the  emotional behaviour.

Awareness of senses: yogic techniques and games  helps the child to bring more awareness to sensory input.
