• Sit in any easy and relaxed pose. • Inhale deeply from both nostrils till lungs fully expand • Exhale forcefully through both nostrils. • Practice this few times at a slow and moderate speed. • Inhalation and exhalation are in quick succession. BENEFITS: • Helps to remove the toxins from the body. • Helps the lungs to get more strength as with every inhalation and exhalation the lungs expand and contract. Precautions : • Beginners should perform at a slow speed as sometimes the quick succession may cause dizziness. • People suffering from high blood pressure and heart disease should not perform this breathing. • Always breathe in and out into the lungs not the stomach. . Also consult your doctor before practicing.

agni(fire) saar(essence) is practiced to improve the digestive process. When digestive organs are not working well the digestive fire slows down and needs to be fanned. Agnissar kriya helps to tone the digestive organs.

Bhramar means the bee. In this pranayam the practitioner makes the humming sound of a bee. • Close both the ear with the thumb and place rest of the fingers on head. • Inhale slowly and deeply from both nostrils and exhale while making the humming sound of the bee. • Repeat this 10-12 times or according the capacity of the practitioner. BENEFITS: • The vibrations caused by the humming sound reduces the cerebral tension. • Practicing this pranayam helps in meditation.

Kapal means skull and bhati means the shine. Hence practicing Kapalbhati regularly yogi achieves a state of light to the frontal region of the brain. In kapalbhati kriya the inhalations are passive. Exhalations are forcefully and in short successions. People with high blood pressure and cardiac patients should not practice this kriya.
